By using our website or services you consent to the practices described in this Policy.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Identity & contact data: name, mobile, email, postal address, referral ID.
- Project data: roof area, electricity bill details, sanctioned load, DISCOM consumer number, photographs of the site.
- KYC & subsidy data: Aadhaar/PAN reference, bank details and other documents required by the National Portal for PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device, pages visited, cookies and similar tracking technologies.
- Account data: if you create an account, your login credentials and activity within the account.
2. Purpose & lawful basis of processing
We process your information to:
- respond to enquiries, prepare quotations and execute installation contracts;
- file and track your subsidy application on the PM Surya Ghar national portal and with the concerned DISCOM (CSPDCL);
- provide after-sales service, warranty support and statutory compliance;
- comply with applicable law including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and GST/income-tax record-keeping requirements;
- improve our website, services and customer communication.
3. Sharing & disclosure
We share data only with: (a) authorised vendors, OEMs and empanelled installers required to deliver the project; (b) the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE), the National Portal and your DISCOM for subsidy and net-metering processing; (c) payment gateways, banks and statutory authorities; and (d) courts or law-enforcement agencies where legally required. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Data retention
We retain personal and project data for a period of five (5) years from the date of last interaction or from the end of the warranty/service period, whichever is later, to comply with tax, warranty and statutory obligations. KYC documents linked to subsidy claims are retained for the period mandated by MNRE/DISCOM.
5. Security
We follow reasonable security practices and procedures as prescribed under Rule 8 of the SPDI Rules, 2011 and the DPDP Act, 2023, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access controls and limited employee access on a need-to-know basis. No system is fully secure; you share information at your own risk.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, updation, withdrawal of consent, or deletion of your personal data, and you may nominate another person to exercise these rights in case of incapacity or death. Withdrawing consent will not affect processing done before the withdrawal and may limit our ability to serve you.
